Power of Collaboration: How Leadership, Platforms, and Partnerships Aided in Pandemic Response

The U.S. government’s public health apparatus has had to quickly launch initiatives to help the research community investigate and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the COVIDcode study, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) needed to ensure healthcare providers and patients could register for the study and participate collaboratively with the ability to securely provide private data electronically to research staff throughout the study. In just under 5 weeks, ICF provided a robust, user-friendly solution in support of the initiative between the NCI Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics, the National Human Genome Research Institute, and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

In this session, we’ll discuss how the Digital Service Center (DSC) and ServiceNow enabled NCI and ICF to:

  • Rapidly respond to emerging mission critical needs
  • Rationalize and modernize their application portfolio and drive good governance
