Paul Smith is the President of Global Customer and Field Operations at ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), where he is responsible for overseeing ServiceNow’s global commercial efforts, including new routes to market and global expansion efforts. Paul also leads global field operations, go-to-market, industries, partners, and our end-to-end customer success journey.
Paul joined ServiceNow in July 2020 as SVP & General Manager of EMEA, was soon elevated to President, EMEA in January 2021, and then Chief Commercial Officer in January 2022. He assumed the role of President, Global Customer and Field Operations in January 2025.
With more than 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles across the technology industry, Paul is more passionate than ever about reinventing work and challenging legacy business models through innovation. Paul has a proven track record of managing highly effective go-to-market operations and developing new markets to create triple-digit growth. He also holds a number of key allyship roles. In these roles, Paul drives transformative change and measurable impact for underrepresented groups, advancing ServiceNow’s global diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives with a strategic, results-oriented approach.
Prior to ServiceNow, Paul held senior positions at Salesforce, Microsoft, and Procter & Gamble.
