Herb Thompson

Herb Thompson leads efforts to grow the veteran talent pool in the ServiceNow ecosystem. Veterans provide a unique perspective for ServiceNow’s support of military and government customers as well as bring a strong work ethic and commitment to mission. The company develops talent through the SkillBridge program, an intensive, 40hrs a week, 16 week, cohort-based virtual training program, that helps transitioning service members, Veterans, and Military spouses in to meaningful employment.

Herb is a leading voice in the veteran community and the award-winning author of The Transition Mission: A Green Beret’s approach to transition from military service. During his military career, Herb was the only person in U.S. Army history to have earned the Green Beret and Drill Sergeant of the Year awards. Post-service, he earned an MBA from Cornell University.
