Angela Lauvray is the Chief of the Supply Chain Management Branch for the Department of State’s Bureau of Administration, Office of Logistics Management, Operations (A/LM/OPS/RLC/SCM). Since joining the Department of State in November of 2006, Angela has held positions managing each of the phases of the Department of State’s supply chain cycle from acquisitions to final receiving by the customers.
Angela’s role includes leading projects to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of logistics, transportation, and distribution operations across the global supply chain through application development. She is currently leading an effort using ServiceNow to establish a global employee transfer portal in support of the Department’s Permanent Change of Station process. She also is the product owner of several logistics management systems at the Department, including the Transportation Management System, the Warehouse Management System, and a specialized Inventory Management System for medical supplies.
Using her unique and extensive experience, Angela leads training for Embassy staff worldwide on shipping and warehouse best practices, medical logistics, wiser warehousing, and transportation invoicing. Prior to joining Department of State, Angela worked for Pacer International specializing in supply chain management for Fortune 500 companies.
