Dr. Tiina Rodrigue

Dr. Tiina K.O. Rodrigue is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (CFPB), her third, major, Federal agency in her career – serving previously at USCIS/TSA and FSA. Before Federal service, Dr. Rodrigue served in several senior positions at Cisco Systems and other FISMA-based efforts at Treasury, Education, the Pentagon, FAA, and Fortune 500 companies.

Dr. Tiina is a published academic author, a contributor to NIST standards, as well as a regular keynote speaker, lecturer, and instructor on risk, technology, and cybersecurity subjects. The workshops she held on institutional risk profiles and cybersecurity maturity assessments were lauded as invaluable for executive awareness, bridging the gap to define growth strategies towards cybersecurity posture maturation for an industry. She has won a CFPB DMAA award, has been cited as a Top CISO by CDO magazine, and won the Ralph Stone Award for Selfless Leadership.

Dr. Rodrigue holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, a Master’s degree with honors in Management Information Technology from the University of Virginia and is a Doctorate with honors recipient from The George Washington University’s Executive Cyber Corps Doctoral program examining Cybersecurity from a Human and Organizational Development perspective. Her dissertation quantitatively examined comprehensive cybersecurity within an organizational environment.

Dr. Tiina is a wife and mother of six, enjoying running her farm in her copious spare time.
