Gary Novotny

Mr. Gary Novotny is currently the Chief, ServiceNow Program Management Office (PMO) with the Central Intelligence Agency in the United States Intelligence Community. In this role, Mr. Novotny provides leadership and oversight to both the PMO and on-prem Platform team, as well as manages the Enterprise License Agreement. Mr. Novotny and his team plans, manages, and coordinates complex ServiceNow Information Technology (IT) projects across his agency. He leads a team of diverse IT professionals ensuring that IT requirements align with strategic and corporate objectives across the Enterprise.
Previously, Mr. Novotny has worked in a variety of different IT roles in different agencies throughout the United States Government. He has led teams in the Web Governance and Standards Division; Outreach, Innovation, and IT Advocacy Division; and other duties for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, both from Bowling Green State University. Before joining the ranks of his fellow IT professionals, Gary worked counterintelligence investigations, both in the United States and overseas. Gary was honored as the Capital Region Federal Agent of Year during his time as a Special Agent.
