Karen Pavlin is chief equity and inclusion officer at ServiceNow, the digital workflow company making the world work better for everyone. In this role, Karen leads ServiceNow’s global efforts to strengthen the inclusive culture, ensure employees are treated equitably, and create an even deeper sense of belonging.
Before joining ServiceNow in January 2022, Karen spent just over four years at Accenture, as Managing Director and North America Inclusion and Diversity Leader, where she was responsible for further strengthening and accelerating the company’s efforts to foster inclusion and fusing the role of technology and human ingenuity in driving change.
At Accenture, Karen also led account strategies to drive large-scale transformation, thought leadership and innovation for the firm’s top Financial Services and Communication, Media and Technology (CMT) clients.
Prior to Accenture, Karen spent 20+ years at Xerox Corporation as a global managing director – managing the firm’s largest and most strategic Financial Services clients and global P&L. Over the span of her career at Xerox, she held leadership roles within Global Accounts, World-Wide Alliances and Digital Transformation Services. She was also a part of the Xerox/ACS integration team in 2010. Karen also led several NYC based Women in Tech and mentoring programs over the years.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters degree in marketing communications and business from the University of Virginia. She also completed Cornell University’s Modern Chief Diversity Officer Program in May 2021. Karen sits on the Board of Directors of the Apollo Theater and iMentor National Organization. She was the recipient of The Network Journal’s Top 25 Black Women in Business in May 2019.
