Robert “Rob” Lancon serves as the Government and Community Relations Manager at Hire Heroes USA, where he leverages partnerships with government leaders and community partners to elevate the organization’s mission of empowering veterans and military spouses to find meaningful employment.
Before joining Hire Heroes USA, Rob immersed himself in political advocacy, notably as the Operations Manager at The Hub Project in Washington, D.C., and contributing a decade of service at the Louisiana State Capitol. His tenure in Baton Rouge was marked by impactful roles with Pivotal GR Solutions, Adams and Reese LLP, the Louisiana State Senate, and on numerous political campaigns.
Rob’s dedication to civic engagement earned him the Civics in Action Award from the Louisiana State Bar Association in 2012, and in 2011, he was honored with a gubernatorial appointment to the Volunteer Louisiana Commission. As a Baton Rouge Alliance for Students CHANGEMAKER, Rob extends his commitment to service by volunteering with a variety of student organizations.
Rob is a military kid, a proud Louisiana State University Tiger, and a gumbo aficionado. He resides in Washington, D.C.
